Plan now to attend the next LSR meeting in Burlingame, December 5-9, 2005.

This meeting will present initial submissions for RFP that extends the Polymorphisms Markup Language (PML-2). This is a continuation of the PML-1 initiative that will extend this data exchange format into new areas of DNA polymorphism data handling.

The CSAR Finalization Task Force (FTF) will be chartered at this meeting.

Atlanta, September 14-15, 2005.

The meeting focused on the SNP working group, issuing the RFP for the PML-2 (next generation of PML).

The CSAR specification was also presented in revised form to the Architecture Board and was passed.

Boston (MA), June 21-22, 2005.

The meeting focused on the SNP working group, preparing the RFP for the PML-2 (next generation of PML).This encluded:

  • enhancements to PML-1 that may be necessary (e.g., genotype and haplotype components)
  • a generic data model for phenotype information, suitable for representing raw and/or aggregated phenotype data
  • components that capture causal relationships between DNA level and phenotype level information, including experimental details

Athens (Greece), April 13-14, 2005.

The meeting focused on the SNP working group, evaluating the current status of PML (Polymorphic Markup Language), and preparing for the PML-2 (next generation of PML).
