Business architecture as a formal discipline has reached a level of
maturity unimaginable just a few years ago,
enabling
businesses to deliver innovative solutions to complex business
challenges. Business architecture is being leveraged to
improve strategy development and deployment, organizational design,
initiative planning, performance analysis, operating model
improvement and change management. In addition, organizations are leveraging
business architecture to streamline portfolio management, case
management, business process management and business requirements
analysis.
On March 25-26, 2014 in Reston, VA
the Business Architecture Innovation Summit,
co-sponsored by the Business Architecture Guild and the OMG, is
pleased to showcase a number of these experiences and success
stories. This year's Summit will feature practitioners and thought
leaders from financial services, insurance, healthcare,
manufacturing, transportation, retail and other industries. In
addition, leading industry experts, including collaborators and
contributors to A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of
Knowledge (BIZBOK™), will discuss rapidly
emerging concepts and disciplines.
Discussions will weave together state-of-the-art
and state-of-the-practice approaches that include
practice deployment; strategy mapping; capability, value and
information mapping; business design; investment and initiative
analysis; operating model alignment; business-driven IT
transformation; building your practice and getting started.
Attendees will exchange ideas and experiences in formal and informal
settings over this exciting two-day event. Please join us in Reston,
VA on March 25-26, 2014 for the next chapter in this groundbreaking
event.
