This Working Group was dissolved by the ManTIS in Danvers, July 2001
Originally chartered to work with the Common Business Object initiative of the Business Object Domain Task Force (BODTF). The BODTF eventually re-chartered itselve as the Common Enterprise Model Domain Task Force (CEMDTF) with a mission to foster cross-domain coordination. The MfgCBO help lead this transformation and its charter of defining Common Business Objects was abandoned.
The cross task force coordination work items were assumed by the Manufacturing Outreach WG, chartered in Danvers.

The WG has been dormant for 3 years. The "Release for Production RFP" was the only work item it ever had & it failed for lack of an LOI. We have not been able to attract ERP vendors back to the ManTIS.
An opinion was expressed that there may someday soon be interest by the ERP vendors. The question was asked if there was interest in the group in working on recruiting and cultivating this interest now. No response.
It was mentioned that we need to talk to the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) folks, because the issue is broader than just ERP in Manufacturing... but this would be another working group.

There were no chairs. There were only two members. The working group was dissolved with it's single, but significant result, the DAIS Technology Adoption in process awaiting Board of Director approval.
