ManTIS Roadmaps & Charter
The ManTIS Roadmap serves as a plan and schedule for activity conducted by the OMG's Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Systems Task Force (ManTIS). It identifies categories of activity and specific work items within those categories; lists expected work item deliverables; and provides a schedule for work items. It also records the history of ManTIS Task Force activity.
- ManTIS Charter The 2002 Charter on which the ManTIS Task Force was Established.
- MfgDTF Charter The original 1996 Charter on which the MfgDTF was Established. The MfgDTF was a predecessor organization to ManTIS.
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V5.3 Reviewed at the Danvers MA Meeting, July 2001. (Version 5.2 was an interim draft and not uploaded to the OMG server.)
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V5.1 Reviewed at the Irvine Meeting, Feb-Mar 2001.
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V5.0 The Current Roadmap was adopted in the Burlingame Meeting, September 2000. This is a complete revamp of the Roadmap with greater emphasis on future activities and terse graphic presentation. Included in the adoption vote was the resolution to make the Roadmap a living document maintained from meeting to meeting by the Roadmap editors based on feedback received during a standing Roadmap Agenda Slot and in between meetings. No specific vote will be required unless called for specifically as issues require.
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V4.0 Incorporates changes discussed at the January 1999 MfgDTF meeting.
- Mfg DTF Roadmap, V3.1 Incorporates activity defined at the June 1998 MfgDTF meeting: document number changes; date changes; and results of MES RFI evaluation
- Mfg DTF Roadmap, V3.0 1998 overhaul and update. Incorporates draft review comments received at the April 1998 MfgDTF meeting.
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V2 (Draft) Incorporates major additions as agreed upon at September 1996 meeting.
- MfgDTF Roadmap, V1 The original Mfg Roadmap as we transitioned from being a Special Interest Group to a Task Force.

General Document Retrieval
All the documents issued by the ManTIS are stored electronically at the OMG site. Each document has an OMG document number of the form mantis/yyyyy-mm-nn (where yyyy & mm are the year and month issued, and nn is a serially assigned number (starting with "01" for each month). Specific documents can be accessed by document number using the URL form:
http://doc.omg.org/mantis/yyyy-mm-nn
[This URL form will return a list of all formats of the document available. Customarily, documents are supplied in Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), Postscript (.ps), and Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf). Occasionally other formats such as Microsoft Powerpoint (.ppt), FrameMaker, Zip and other formats will be encountered. Portable Document Format (.pdf), for text and graphics requires a freely available Acrobat reader.]
Any version of a ManTIS document can be obtained via FTP by appending the document number and the relevant file extension to "ftp://ftp.omg.org/pub/docs/mantis". For example, the PostScript version of the ManTIS PLM Services V1.0 RFP can be obtained from:
ftp://ftp.omg.org/pub/docs/mantis/2002-10-01.ps
To access legacy documents from the constituent organizations:
