Healthcare Ordering Service RFP
Electronic Health Standards Community Will Have One Year to
Respond with Implementation Specifications
San Diego, Calif. - December 18, 2015 - Cognitive Medical Systems, a

has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Healthcare Ordering Service.

and is the next step in evolving HL7 Service Functional Models into normative

Systems, will have until November 7, 2016 to respond with a technical
implementation specification, which will be voted on by OMG member
OMG specifications build upon HL7 functional models by soliciting from the
community a technology-neutral, platform-independent model, at least one
platform-specific model, and a reference implementation that demonstrates the
feasibility of the proposed standard.
