OMG’s Andrew Watson to Give Keynote,
Presentation on Cloud Computing at
5th International Service Technology Symposium
Needham, MA, USA – September 5, 2012 – OMG’s® Vice
President and Technical Director Andrew Watson will be
giving a keynote presentation and general presentation at
the 5th International Service Technology Symposium being
held 24-25 September 2012 in London, UK.
The International Service Technology Symposium is the
world’s largest event dedicated to Service Technology, SOA,
Cloud Computing and Big Data, featuring top industry experts
and authors, along with CCP and SOACP certification
workshops from SOASchool.com and CloudSchool.com.
Andrew will be giving two presentations:

many businesses' Information Technology needs. In this
visionary keynote, Andrew will present thoughts on how both
IT users and providers should respond to this shift that is
changing the complexion of IT and business automation.
"Making Cloud Standards Customer-Driven"

On 7th April 2011 industry leaders from across the world
formed the first customer-led consortium designed to shape
the face of open standards based cloud computing. The Cloud
Standards Customer Council will drive user requirements into
standards development process, establish the criteria for
open standards based cloud computing, and deliver content in
the form of best practices, case studies, use cases,
requirements, gap analysis and recommendations for cloud
standards. This talk covers CSCC's origins, structure and
objectives, and describes how you can get involved.
