Live Broadcast of BPMN Capability Demonstration
Take Place during Object Management Group TC Meeting in
Needham, MA - March 7, 2016 - The Object
Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open
membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium,
is pleased to announce that the BPMN™ Model Interchange
Working Group (BPMN MIWG) is holding its 4th BPMN
interchange capability demonstration on March 16, 2016 at
13:30hrs (ET) and will be broadcast live via
Google Hangout. The demonstration will be co-located with the Object
Management Group's quarterly
TC meeting in Reston, VA from March 14-18, 2016.
This demonstration scenario will involve 11 different
tools from nine BPMN software vendors collaborating to
create a BPMN model and then have it execute on various BPMN
engines. Confirmed participants in the demonstration
include: Trisotech, Omny
Link, Signavio, W4,
Itp commerce and ESTECO.
"Organizations around the world are increasingly
investing in capturing process models using BPMN. These
capability demonstrations help guide end user organizations
in selecting software vendors that ensure perenniality via
interchangeability of these models," said Denis Gagné,

BPMN provides a graphical notation and precise model for
specifying business processes. It has been an OMG-adopted
standard since 2005. The BPMN MIWG held its first successful
interchange demonstration at OMG's June 2013 Technical
