A Status on OMG Architecture-Driven Modernization Task Force

This paper provides an overview of existing systems modernization and discusses what the Architecture-
Driven Modernization task force is doing to facilitate application meta-data interchange standards, as well
as promote modernization in general. Multiple metamodels are being developed to represent application
meta-data from multiple perspectives. This paper also communicates the overall roadmap that the ADM task
force is using to guide development of a series of modernization standards.
