Underwriters Laboratories, Lockheed Martin, MITRE Speakers Headline Cyber Risk Summit in Chicago
Focus on Role Standards Play to Access Vulnerabilities in Cyber Infrastructure
Needham, MA - August 16, 2016 - The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced that it will host the Cyber Risk Summit at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel on September 14th in Rosemont, IL, USA. A full-day event from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, the Summit will focus on standards-based methods and solutions. Registration costs $149 USD and is open to the public.
Dr. Richard Soley, Chairman and CEO of the OMG, who will oversee the event, said, "Standards support effective, sustainable and affordable automated solutions that help organizations understand, assess, and manage cyber risk. Attendees will learn how standards-based methods and solutions combat cyber risk and bolster the security and resiliency of IT systems so that organizations can be confident about the true nature of risks and vulnerabilities involved."
The agenda will feature thought leaders from: Synopsys, Inc., KDM Analytics, Lockheed Martin, Underwriters Laboratories, The MITRE Corporation, Advanced Systems Management Group, Model Driven Solutions and KYM Advisors, Inc. Speakers will share business cases describing automated risk management solutions that address key cyber risk issues while reducing cost.

- Case study: Hear how Lockheed Martin identifies critical vulnerabilities in code and system architecture

The day will conclude with panel discussions about commercial products implementing standards and customer perspectives on the future of cyber risk.
