Object Management Group Presence Grows with New Washington, D.C. Office

Needham, MA - Feb. 10, 2016 - The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced it has opened a Washington, D.C. office located at the Evening Star Building, Regis Group Room 6627, 1101 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C., 20004. It will operate under the direction of two senior vice presidents: Victor Harrison and Steven A. MacLaird.

"The proximity of our new office to government agencies such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology, U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Information Systems Agency as well as the Director of National Intelligence, will help us foster a better understanding with federal officials how standards can affect government initiatives in regulations and laws, procurement and internal operations," said William Hoffman, OMG president and COO.
