Hardware Abstraction Layer For Robotic Technology
This specification defines the Platform-Independent Model (PIM) of a Hardware Abstraction Layer for robotic systems that is capable to support at least the following devices: - Sensors. Besides the actual, normalized measurement, sensor kind and unit of measure should be provided. - Actuators. Commands to perform motions, and motion feedback information should be provided.
