SysML v1.5 Specification Release

May, 2017. The OMG SysML Version 1.5 specification (OMG document formal/2017-56-01) was formally released and can be downloaded from the OMG SysML page at https://www.omg.org/spec/SysML/1.5/. This specification supercedes SysML Version 1.4. A primary change from SysML v1.4 is the introduction of an Abstract Requirement that can be extended to support other kinds of requirements such as property-based requirements (refer to Annex E.8). The intent is to enable more precise expressions of requirements beyond purely text-based requirements.

The complete list of issues that were addressed as part of this revision can also be found by selecting the Issues Fixed link on the SysML specification page.
